Soft Shonda, Winter 2021

Soft Shonda, an original felted artwork. Soft Shonda is an iteration #3 in an ongoing series that represents a woman in depths of depression. Despite its warm happy colors that are reminiscent of spring and summer, Shonda depicts a woman in her saddest moments during the winter. Nothing in the piece from its flowery elements to the striped overalls indicate sadness which is the point.
28x36" Hand felted wool painting. Framed in an oversized mat and natural wood frame.
